Everyone has a 'philosophy of life'. Mine is - Nothing is too important! If you lost the most precious material possession you ever had, if you are anxious about your new job, if you are worried what people around you are thinking, if you don't know what you will be doing next year - don't worry because "nothing is too important". This doesn't imply that one should take everything casually, what it means is that one should not over-emphasize the importance of anything to a point where it starts affecting one's peace of mind. I've so far managed to do pretty well in life following this philosophy and ended up enjoying life much more than most people would. I feel very strongly about an individual's right to make his/her own choices. I believe that everyone should respect everyone else's way of life. One should not have to follow traditions just because they are there. One should not have to live by someone else's rules. Everybody should have the freedom to live as they please as long as they are not encroaching upon someone else's rights. |

I grew up in many different small and big towns. Most of my formal education happened in Delhi. I have a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Delhi. Most of my work so far has been related to information technology and marketing is one way or another (more about this in my resume). I have had my successes and failures in work. The important thing is that I always enjoyed my work and given it my best. The most fun part about my life is and has been that I travel a lot. My life and work have taken me all over India. I've also had the good fortune to visit South Africa and work in Uganda for a little over 6 months. I love the excitement of going to a new place for the first time. For me travel literally enlarges my world. Before I went to Africa, it was like a big whole in my perception of the globe, and now suddenly there's something there! |
