Professional Experience

Project Manager, Feb ’05 – Present at DHL Information Services (Europe), Prague, Czech Republic

·   Managed project teams (5-15 people) to deliver projects worth 650,000 EUROs (in 2006) for development / deployment of information systems related to Human Resources, Supply Chain and Procurement.

·   Managed all aspects of project delivery including bidding process and financial control (P&L).

·   Prepared three business cases for initiation of internal projects worth approximately 1 Million EUROs, presented these to IT Services senior management and got approval for all three.

·   Implemented SAP (Human Capital Management) at DHL Information Services

·   Managed a global web-based system used by DHL Human Resources departments around the world to run their Management Development processes (motiv8 Online). This included managing stakeholders around the world with varying expectations.

·   Played a key role in migration of a service (motiv8 Online) from Brussels data center to ITSC Prague, including set up of solution support, service level agreement and knowledge transfer.

·   Worked in a matrix organization in 2006; interacted with a wide ranging group of individuals in different departments, geographical locations and at different management levels to drive projects/bids to successful completion.

 

Technical Analyst, Nov ’03 – Jan ’05 at DHL Worldwide Network NV/SA, Brussels, Belgium

·   Played a key role in worldwide implementation and solution support of a web-based Management Development system for top managers as a member of a team of four. This included preparation of business requirements and evaluation of technical solutions for the same.

·   Facilitated user-training workshops for 80 users in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary, Argentina, Russia and Czech Republic.

·   Part of an 18 member leadership team responsible for global direction, providing strategy and service support to 30,000 members in 85 countries. 

·   Successfully sold two online services within the global AIESEC network – got buy-in from member countries thus providing the funding for maintenance and development of these services.

·   Restructured the IS landscape resulting in greater systems integration and 18% reduction in IT spending.
